I’ve been a client since 2019. The atmosphere is amazing. She always punctual. She always has a great playlist. Mostly importantly to me is she’s never had me waiting while serving someone else. Alex is a great person to talk to. She’s knows what she’s doing!

I have been a client of hers for years, and although it has been a while since my last appointment, she still holds a special place in my heart. She is a beautiful person whose care extends far beyond doing hair.

The attention she gives your crown, the meaningful conversations, and the warmth she brings to each appointment make the experience special. I have always left her chair feeling better than when I arrived—both on the outside and within.

She is professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful about the health of your hair. You can feel that she cares about you as a person, too. Being in her chair means feeling heard, cared for, and uplifted. I am grateful for the care she has poured into my crown and into me over the years.

I’ve been going to Alex for about 3 years now and she saved my microlocs. I was on the verge of cutting them off because of the damage but she was patient with me, provided education on how to care for my locs and ultimately restored them. My hair is strong and healthy because of her. I’m am very grateful to Alex for providing a safe space to explore my loc journey.

I started my loc journey with Alex in 2023.
The vibe and atmosphere of the salon is top tier.
On any given visit, you may leave with a new suggested reading/book or new music selection.

The HEALTH of my hair is paramount. I have a sensitive scalp, aka “tender headed,” along with low tolerance for highly chemical processed products. Alex is very accommodating to my personal sensitivities, with knowledge of natural product suggestion, as well as on site provisions.

Even in Alex’s unavailability, her colleague: Cherise, loctician/stylist & barber is just as knowledgeable and the client is still provided exemplary service and education for independent upkeep between appointments. I’ve been a client since the start of my loc journey in 2023 and ongoing due to stellar service, calming atmosphere, cleanliness and growing education. I thank Alex as my loctician for her attention to health as well as the aesthetic maintenance throughout my loc journey.

She’s kind, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients. I trust no one else with my hair! She’s taught me so much about caring for my locs, and she’s become so much more to me than just a hairstylist.
